Thank you guys! Yeah a one piece landing gear on a spit is a bit of a head scratcher John. Carlos you're not wrong so far every piece that I have test fitted has gone together very well.

The best part of this kit and aircraft... no rivets to worry about on a wooden fighter.

Very interesting engineering. But it's Tamiya so no worries there.

Again I wish I had more to share.
Got the PE added I'm also going to add some wiring here soon. I'm in no hurry since I'm waiting for some RB metal gun barrels. Tamiya is very good at making kits but their gun barrels always end up looking like broom sticks. Here's where she is at right now.



The plywood floor under the pilots seat will get some more work done to it this is just the start. Also I have taken Johns' technique of using future to attach the flat PE. This has worked out really well and I really like the extra work time using this technique.

Something else I want to share. After Carlos had shared his new find of the MicroMark liquid glue it made me go and do a google search for Tenax just to see if by chance they was making it again. Well they aren't but I did find this.

Now they claim they took a bottle of Tenax to a lab and found out exactly what it was made of. At this point I was thinking this sounds great! Then the next thing they state is that they then improved the formula. I guess they can't just market it as the same thing with copy right laws and things. That part made me worry but decided to go a head and buy a couple of bottles to try. If it sucks then I'm just out a few bucks but if its great then I have enough to last me over a year.

I've used it now a bit and DAMN it's the Tenax7R that I have been trying to find for years now. I'll let you know how well it handles joining the fuselage and wings when I get to that stage but so far I'm very happy with it.

Okay, that is good to know! I still prefer Testors Red Tube for big joins, I’ve been getting better with the Tamiya Extra Thin and I have a quart of acetone I don’t know what to do with....I guess I can use it for brush cleaner.

Anyway, what differentiates the TET from the Tenax? I’ve not been able to tell a difference.
