Pained the hood, paint crinkled.... I know what I did - sprayed too closed and too heavy. Stupid, stupid, stupid.....

I know exactly why and how, I wanted to get it done while I still had warm weather. I guess Mother Nature had other ideas.

I'm lucky. I have a basement and a booth i built 11 years ago plus I spray at work.

I, too, have a basement as well. The missus don't like me spraying paint down in basement due to "toxic smell" of paint. This winter I'll use the airbrush booth. Summer and warm weather has been great for me spraying outdoors in sunny, warm, calm or zero wind. Sunshine helps cure it in bright sunlight. Plus, she don't complain of the smell of paint.

A booth would help with the smell a little. Tell her you don't like the toxic smell of her nail polish!

Repainted the body and hood a couple weeks ago. Applied Future as my gloss coat for the first time through my airbrush. It has been cured for 3 days now. Here are the pics prior to adding Bare Metal Foil...







I am impressed since Future took out the dead spot on the roof.
