A bit of a bump with the tailwheel, but that is normal for me. Some CA took care of it. My test fit to the fuselage was without the side panels installed. Working on those now.

They fit pretty well from what I recall! I wouldn't worry about the pin marks either, you can't see them with the fuselage nailed together.

Looks good! Glad you’re enjoying the building - I just now realized this was the Airfix kit, haha! That’s a good sign. Truly, i gevrnt been sniffing glue or suffering memory loss. I think. I simply compare the cockpit to the actual and think that looks very good...

Rudders attached. This was done using a large, 10" putty knife to apply the glue. It has been a rough day at the bench. Some micro sanding to be done.

Thanks folks. Turns out the cockpit tub wasn't a "fit like a glove" . . . Something moved and I ended up shaving, sanding and beating it in to place. Sometimes I really don't like this hobby. Anyway, it is passable.

I am not sure the wings are correctly positioned, either. Something looks a bit off.

Why, pray tell, does this kit have two canopies and windscreen hoods? Do they know my penchant for messing them up?

A careful study will show they are not the same, Lyle, at least not the aft sliding part.

The blue line is the Inglewood canopy, which was made with a mold. The black line is the Dallas made canopy, which was free blown.
