Shot some more paint last night/this morning. I was careful to count my passes on each piece and thin the paint in exacting amounts. This paint lays down beautifully and is not overly picky about pass overlay. All that is left are the front seats and the inner/out doors. I made the hinges [forgot pic] and they will work well. One came out better than the other fit wise so I may end up gluing the passenger door in place. The jury is out on that score. A week or so will see some clear being shot and then the roof with a semi gloss black. As long as it all goes to plan I should be installing the engine in a couple of weeks. Good things take time.

That looks great. I have some MCW enamel and lacquer. Haven’t used it yet, so this is good info.

That's a nice looking color and it looks like it goes down easily too.

You really do this turbine car in rocket speed! Loved to do some Jo-Han kits back then when I was way younger, but missed this one. Amazing that it’s still around!
One day I must “urge” Lyle to ship me some SuperClean, don’t know of such stuff here in Germany.

Oh, and a heartfelt welcome to the nutshouse, Bob!!

Firstly, Thank You Thomas for the welcome.

And secondly. Lyle, having underwear older than a few Presidential terms is not something I'd be letting out to the public! :giggles:

Thanks for the encouragement to all who peek in here. It means a lot and spurs me on.

Err... not the information I was looking for... :bag:

I am talking on this purple stuff that removes the chrome, as shown on page 1.
Oh, Bob, what is this photo etch I see in the pics of this build? Is there aftermarket available for it?
