Thanks Bruce. The One Shot does give a beautiful finish. And it cleaned up out of my airbrush easy enough. Next month, AK Real Color and Mr Leveling Thinner for the base color.

I think you will pull this off with time to spare! Thinking about it I probably spend at least 12 hours of every build just sitting in my chair starting at it going what was it I was doing again?

Ya know, I have spent plenty of time between the two sessions figuring out what to do to keep it flowing smoothly, what I was gonna use, add, or delete. But not quite 12 hours were involved. So the month between sessions was put to good use. However, having only four hours to do painting, decals and weathering will be a challenge, seeing how there is no real time for the paint to dry and cure before the decals and weathering.

Man, I do that every day too. When that happens, I put it aside and bring out something else until I remember what I wanted to do on the first kit.

Carlos, perhaps having a blow dryer next to the bench would work to help speed paint drying. I saw Jim Frye do that during one four-hour-build at his shop once.

Mark, the hair dryer idea sounds like a workable plan... not sure if we have one here or not...

What scheme are you planning? I would think that a simple one colour scheme would make life much easier in the time you have left to get it finished?

Thanks Stuart. Yes, I’m going with a single overall color scheme. For most of their service life during the Cold War the Dutch had the Leopard 2’s in overall Gelboliv. Yes, that scheme will make it easier in my last session in two Saturdays.
