Thanks, John. If I had to guess, I’d say the flat spot to which the pitot tube was mounted was maybe 1/32”. No way I could drill that out to use wire.

That looks fantastic Lyle - very nicely done and man, much faster than mine!

Sure you can, Lyle. Take a new #11 blade and make a center point with the tip, then drill with the drill bit the size of your wire, probably .032. Fix any bad stuff that happens with Epoxyclay. I do it with my shaky hands so I'm sure you with your eye surgeon touch will have no problem!

I appreciate your confidence! But....for example, I drew blood today from a cloth apron tie that was tangled on my chair...my hands are somewhat stiff, eye a little blurry and all that. Making tha venter hole I’ve done. It is the drilling that gets me. I have a slightly better set now, so who knows?

What an exceptional job Lyle! Magnificent, despite the missing nose tube. Believe me, out of the probably one hundred aircraft that I've built that has one, I think maybe five still have them.

Nice looking Falcon Lyle. Looks different without the wing tip rails

I may need to go back and add the rails. I've now seen pics of with and I can't really tell.
