I hear you on the bench time getting sidelined due to "other projects" Stuart. My benchtime has been slowed to about 25% of what I'm normally used to doing. Gotta love a Zero man.

Thanks Joe - it's mental at the moment! Real life sucks sometimes!

Currently working and watching Tora Tora Tora on my 2nd screen!

Tora! Tora! Tora! is such an underrated movie. It’s one of my favorites.

Oh I agree, it's an excellent movie - It's only got 10 mins to run now but it's been great to watch while I've been working (and snipping a few Zero bits off the Sprue!) - I need to watch Midway next - the old not the new one.

Nice looking pit. You're chuffing along a LOT quicker than the rest of us...

The advantage of 1/72. Those kits tend to be less complicated. They do have their own challenges due to the smaller scale, but for the most part, they are lower parts count and quicker to build.

Stik's right, it's a pretty simple kit and as you can't see a lot once the pilot's in, I've only done some basic detail painting and added the ip decal.

Currently painting up Tojo, painting the gun breaches and assembling the wings.

Cheers!

Making some progress - the engine is on and painted, cowling on, canopy on - all ready for paint. Such a nice little kit this, the fit has been wonderful throughout.
