Joe, that is outstanding! I am anxiously awaiting the installation of the spark plug wires and wire harness. Then you'll be able to fire it up! Be sure to show it running for us. :giggles: :lashed:

Thanks you guys. With each engine build I try to develop new techniques and modify existing ones in trying to achieve just one more notch of realism. The only area that I really feel I could improve on is the accessory drive belt and pulleys area. These are really tricky as there are alot of offerings in the AM world to address this but I just can't bring myself to put a modified O-ring or rubber band for a belt. I always wonder what the longevity of those things are. :hmm:

In any case this is how my wiring harness starts life. The innards of a section of electrical wire with the insulation stripped and the "taped harness" section of it twisted together and then applying super glue to the twisted area. After the super glue dries I come back over it with a flat or semi gloss black to simulate the wound electrical tape over the harness. Remaining are the few individual "circuits" to paint the wire colors on.

And here's the completed engine with the coil wire, distributor advance vacuum line and completed electrical harness now installed. Glamour shots coming in the next day or so.

Magnificent work Joe! That looks like it could run.

As for O-rings, would a Teflon one work? They are supposed to last for a good long time.

Every time I try to wrap my tiny brain around this, it shuts down. Simply amazing work.
