Yeah, I thought about that and it certainly looks clear, but I do like my windows to look like windows - assuming the kit has them.
slow progress thanks to work and decorating, but I'm still working on the interior.
I have some placard decals somewhere, I might add a few of those if I can find them.
Cheers!

Thanks Lyle, although we'll have to see if that holds up when I try to assemble it - from the fun that you and Declan had I'm not overly optimistic.
Currently I'm cleaning up the clear parts before dipping them in future, and I need to finish painting the interior before I gloss coat. I'm going to try and use these 'Mike Grant Decals' Cockpit instruments I've had for years. You have to knock them out with a punch as they're not individual, and I've never had much luck doing that - wish me luck.
I also have the famous orange wine bottle foil for seat belts.
Cheers!

a trick that I think came from JKim - use a plastic hole template to position the punch....line the hole up over the item, put the punch in and them whamm-o.

What Bonanza? Oh.....Well, if I'd quit messing around with the paint, that would help. I'll try to get some pictures posted. It will be a nice 6-footer, I think.

I'm sure it'll be better than that!

Also watch for the fit of the nose piece of the cowling to the fuselage with the engine installed. I ended up cutting, well breaking, off the shaft, then sanding the front of the engine, drilling a hole, stretching some sprue for a replacement shaft. Fun stuff.

Wow - I had a feeling that would be a dodgy fit. I was planning on leaving the whole cowling./nose area unglued until I've fitted the engine, and then fit the cowlings around it... that's the plan anyway...

Thinking about digging this build up again - I was looking through the box yesterday to see where I was at with it - Lyle, how did you get on with yours?
