Got the engines attached to the wings now. Next up is getting the cockpit painted so that I can install it and close up the fuselage.

That is starting to come together quite nicely!

Yeah it is. Considering it's age, most everything fits really well, including the front windscreen.

This is a really cool modeling subject Mike. I'm surprised that it's got as much flash as you mentioned being a Hasegawa kit. Good progress on this bad boy so far.

Thanks! Flash doesn't bother me that much. The kit is from 1979 so I would expect that.

With 40+ year old molds, I’d be surprised if there are not issues with flash or fit.

Well be surprised. The fit of 99% of the parts on this kit fit great.

That does sound like my Clipper kit - I'm glad to hear it's gone together well Mike, those wings look good.

I got this theory that white plastic doesn't mold as well as grey or silver....and it makes me snowblind to boot.
