@Lyle:
That quarterscale is obviously growing on you, Stuart. Great work on the Hurricane!

Progress on this one looks great Stuart. I like what you're doing with the pit and it's coming along nicely. I've never been a fan decals for seat belts but it beats not having any in there at all. Looking forward to more buddy.

Stuart,
Concerning your last update- GOOD SHOW! your cockpit’s looking great, and you did a great job on that instrument panel. You’re putting a lot of careful, hard work into this and it shows. Excellent work my man. This is a great build to follow.

Well that was fun…
I was working on assembling all the main components today, got the fuselage together okay, put the lower wings on and the various other bits, but was a bit disappointed by the fit – I then realised that I hadn’t fitted the upper wing halves before I’d fitted the wing to the fuselage. Managed to get them wedged in place, glued and clamped up but the fit was awful, so I had the bright idea of trying to remove the wing so I could redo from start… Well as you can imagine it didn’t go too well as not only did I get a split in the wing, I also managed to pull one half of the cockpit framing apart…
It was at this point I channelled my inner Calvin.
Alas the Clipper. which was also awaiting yet another re-paint, got the same treatment.
