Painting is finished.
Decals shmeecals!!! (not a fan of Hasegawa decals...or Tamiya and Academy for that matter!)
I used an Olfa circle cutter for the markings. I find it much easier to place the Hino, then place the mask around it, then remove the Hino.

With everything masked, I "primed" with flat white...makes a world of difference for bright colors(red/orange/yellow)

Masked out the white border, then sprayed the blue tail band.

Masked over tail band and sprayed Hino's

Finished off with the yellow tail markings.

Unmasked!
