I think the F-35 is an ugly plane. But this kit might still make me get one

They have grown on me. The C models were flying out of MCAS Miramar before I left San Diego and they would turn over our parking structure at work. Loud!!!
Here in AZ I saw a flight of A models just taking off from Luke AFB.
And watching the B take off... it's like watching transformers

Compared to the competition it was up against; it is gorgeous by comparison!

I still need to find and finish my 1/72 scale one.

I've got an Academy F-35A in the stash, it's a type that grown on me a lot - I wish I hadn't sold the F-35B I had.

I think ugly has to do with the monotone grey of these guys. There’s just not one interesting paint scheme and no CAG birds to do yet. Of course after i saw the dry fit assembly video i went out and pre ordered the dang thing :giggles:
