I could not resist. I wanted to see how it had been. Applied heat with a hair dryer and removed the mask. It's my first model with the D-Day stripes.















I know it's mine, I may be being biased, but I liked it .

Looks really "live" due to your approach on how to do the shading. Should try this soon on a model of mine!
Will the invasion stripes get a similar treatment, too, to blend them in?

Yes Thomas, I apply lights and shadows in stripes.





Finished painting.



















Do not know much about photography and can never show the effects on white.

How could not see the lights and shadows in stripes took pictures without flash.

Wonderful! I like your work on the stripes, very restraint but visible. It´s "there" but in no way distracts or is over the top.

Good idea not to use a flash when doing pictures: i use a tripod and lots of exposure time instead.
