John, you make it look too easy. February isn’t even done yet, and you’ve got your second build approaching the finish line in under a month. :shoutout:

Here she goes. It was a fun build, approached in the sense of building to the same speed (more or less!) and standard I did back when the kit was new, but with modern materials and technology. Better glue, better paint, the ability to make decals. It's not a perfect build, and next time I will work a bit harder on the fit of that aft canopy. But it was fun! And I even did the figures that came with the kit. The last pictures are with a Monogram SNJ and Revell Stearman.

Nicely done John! Two Monogram builds in three weeks! That sure is building like a kid again  You have time for plenty more Monogram builds in the remaining five months... :stirpot:
It looks a bit odd to see a two blade propellor on such a beefy postwar radial engine type. And yes, the kit landing gear does look a bit underwhelming. But it sure does look like a T-28. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

Well, that Thunderbird F-100 will hopefully also make it into the familia, but I don't think it will be a 10 day build.

As for the two blade prop, the R-1300 in this version had 40 cubic inches less than the R-1340 in the T-6. This version must be a lot less sprightly than the R-1820 powered ones.

Cranking them out John! She looks great - love the figures. Old monogram kits were so good about providing interesting figures.
