Tan walkways on a Navy aircraft are most unusual. I would not know what color to suggest. Black, Dark Gull Gray, or even Deck Gray/Gunship Gray are the usual suspects for USN/USMC aircraft walkways.

Looks like Dark Gull Gray in this photo

Those red warning intake triangles is why mine is on the shelf of doom. I think I'll do the same as you and paint them.

I’ll take that as a warning to do on mine when I get around to it… :hmm:

Wrapped this one up today. As I was looking for Model Master Radome Tan which is somewhere in my paint stocks I came across a tin of Humbrol Concrete, and the sample on the lid looked pretty good so I went with that to repair a crack in the left side of the anti-glare panel on the nose. I can't see the difference now, it was near the front of the windscreen.

I did have a fit issue with the landing gear, there is a peg on the inside top of each main gear leg that is supposed to fit in a groove in the adjacent wall of the gear well, but the groove wasn't deep enough to let the top of the leg settle in to the hole for the top of the strut all the way. I just clipped off the pegs but next time I will fettle the grooves during assembly to get a good fit. The decals on the drop tanks were another adventure in modeling, as several broke and alignment would be difficult even with decals that behave. :bored:

It fought you a little bit, but you showed it who’s the boss. That turned out looking great John! Humbrol Concrete eh? I have read of that discontinued color, but don’t recall ever seeing it before.

It worked for this but I've never seen bare concrete that color. Must be an English thing.

Well if I can't figure it out, I might just do that.
