Thanks Mike. Yes, it was a great concept and execution for a tribute. I love how the finished collection had a wide variety of subjects and scales. Certainly a bit different from most group entries. The common thread on the builds was the man who started them.

It was definitely one of the cooler group builds there.

That’s a mixture of guys from AZ AMPS and Phoenix IPMS who all did some build for the project. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it to Nationals this year… that guy in the blue shirt to the right of the portrait is John Lewis, retired Marine Corps colonel and HMFIC of AZ AMPS.

I think that ours had something of a sentimental aspect that most group entries never do. It was about a modeler, not a modeling subject.
