Looking good, Mike. I haven’t done a Tornado kit since my teen years.
I haven't done a Tornada at all. But, I have one in the stash. Does that count?
Great work, Mike.

I got the cockpit done with the Eduard PE but I forgot to take a decent pic of it. I also got the forward fuselage and part of the rear fuselage/intakes built. Had some issues with fit and I see some gaps that I'm going to have to fill.

Looking good so far! I love it that model companies are finally providing intake ducts all the way back to the compressor fan faces.

Thanks! Don't know how good those intakes will look though. This thing is WAY over engineered.

And here's what I mean by over engineered. Revell decided to make it possible to swing the wings back and forth. In order to do that with the wing pylons on, they made a complex system that would make the pylons move with the wing sweep. The way it's designed, I can't glue the upper and lower wings together until the wing fold/pylon system is all together. The wings will pop off the pivot point if you don't secure all the mechanisms. So damn stupid. Could be that I'm missing an easier way to do it but I don't think I am.

I don’t recall a mechanism set-up with the Hasegawa Tornado kit ack then. The only thing I remember is the swing wing is similar setup as if the Hasegawa F-14 Tomcat kit. The pylons “I think” where I had to melt the tabs to hold it in place under the wings.Basically I can move them in position whether the wings are swept open or closed. I don’t know.I can’t remember now.
