Me too, with all the 3D printed figures I have bought so far, I probably could have paid for a decent printer, and the figure download files, by now.

I nearly caved during Amazon's black Friday deals, but the thing that has held me back is a lack of a place to keep the printer and vent the fumes.

I hear you my friend. Same reason I have had my printer for about 18 months now and have not used it yet. Still debating using it in my basement (I can vent to the outside via my airbrush booth) or cleaning out a space in the corner of my garage and just not be able to print in the winter. However, I must say I am much more motivated now that I have created actual things to print!

Don't get your hopes up, I'm just learning. I can't even make a decent prop blade yet. The method of twisting the blade is eluding me...
I did it!!! :yahoo: I figured out how to create a prop blade, WITH TWIST! Next up is a replacement for that horrible example of a Curtis prop that comes in the Monogram Razorback kit!

Update: Apparently this particular prop is for an clock-wise rotating engine. :wow: Fortunately that's a one click fix to "mirror" the part

That's my other problem. Where to put it. Living in the armpit of hell during the summer would not be good for it in the garage.
