not much to show. Engine is in place. Had the first real "oopsie" -= a control arm on one of the rotor head pieces came off. Should be fun reattach.

Starting to take the shape of a Huey.
With a break like that sometimes it's better to attach both pieces to the kit separately and align the break that way and add a drop of glue.

I think that is my plan. The others look to be seperate pieces. Not sure why they did this. So far, this has been fairly enjoyable. . .well, except for the seat meltdown.

I've taken some deep breaths, thought about some things I've read and watched. That has helped.

Thank you. Secret weathering method. I'll share. Spray with Tamiya AS-12 Bare Metal, douse in Tamiya Black Panel line wash. Taa Daa! I think I'm happy with it.
