Had an absolute blast at the show. Got to hang out with friends all day and got to meet others for the first time. I even got to meet John Bonanni and Scott Gentry from the Plastic Posse Podcast!! John even gave some of us a personal critique on our armor builds.

Incredible builds at the show. Not to nitpick but that Surrounded at Bastogne is lacking snow. WW1 diorama rescuing a German from a mud hole tells an interesting story. But hey… you got more Gundam kits in a raffle. :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

Historical meteorologically speaking (nice $3 words eh? :lashed: ) it didn’t start snowing around Bastogne until several days into the siege. The first week or so was just cold frozen mud miserable… fog, mists, etc….

I had to go back and find the scene on BoB where they got sent to Bastogne. You are correct. It was misty, foggy, rain, mud, etc… at first. The 101st relieved them as the first group were walking out of the forest shell shocked.

If you watch Battleground, they used bits of news real footage from when the 101st moved out to form a perimeter around the town for that part of the movie and it was not yet snowing.

Good luck at the show Mike. Some nice looking builds there. I don't really do shows so I am interested in how you packed those. What is keeping them from moving around in the box?
