I’m not a big fan of putty to begin with. Sanding is always my first course of action except with major gaps & mismatches. Then I like to use styrene shims.

Thanks Bruce. Lots of sanding after dinner today. Most of the worst seams were removed. Now my next task is replacing the lost recessed rivets in the sanded areas…

Well, after multiple masking and painting sessions, I finally have the camouflage scheme done.



Now I just need to do a few touch ups and paint the bared metal of the nozzle area and steering vanes…
