slow progress but I'm still going with these - pretty much got both lower hull assemblies done along with all the running gear - photo's to follow.

Carry on.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

That's a very cool picture Carlos - I'd like to build all of those.

There are kits of all those types available in 1/35. AFV Club makes the Scorpion & Scimitar, Takom makes the FV432, and Tamiya & Takom make the Chieftain.

Thanks Carlos - certainly I have the Scorpion and the FV432 earmarked for the future. I might have to try a Takom Chieftain at some point although the Tamiya kit I'm building it okay - if basic.

Making sloooooow progress on these - alas, too much else going on.

I've completed the lower hulls of both builds and am in the process of getting started on the uppers - and I have glued the M48 top hull into place as well, plus added a few of the gubbins on top. I've also started on the 90mm barrel - I can see why armour modellers replace them with metal - the clean up on this will be fun!

I'll try and do something with the gaps around the area of the drive sprockets.

And onto the Chieftain... again, lower hull done and some bits and bobs fitted to the uppers.

So there you go - moving in the right direction at least.
