Do you have any idea as to which paint scheme you plan to finish her in?

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

There are several US battlewagons preserved as floating museums around the country… USS Texas, USS Alabama, USS Massachusetts, USS North Carolina, USS New Jersey, USS Iowa, USS Missouri, USS Wisconsin… as well as the Spanish American war protected cruiser USS Olympia. There are also several Essex class carriers (Yorktown, Hornet, Lexington, Intrepid) and the USS Midway also preserved as museums. A naval fan could travel the nation hitting those various attractions.

It does indeed! There are some build videos in YouTube. Scary stuff.
I am so glad you are back!

Sounds like time for a SPAM field trip. I’ve made it to the Texas and Alabama. Seen the Massachusetts from across the parking lot…I was on a long business trip.Stikpusher wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2026 3:22 pm There are several US battlewagons preserved as floating museums around the country… USS Texas, USS Alabama, USS Massachusetts, USS North Carolina, USS New Jersey, USS Iowa, USS Missouri, USS Wisconsin… as well as the Spanish American war protected cruiser USS Olympia.
