I’ve decided to paint the invasion stripes. Just finished masking for the stripes. Painting resumes tonight. We have a college graduation party for my niece this afternoon.

Late last night, I had to make some corrections on my painting. Early invasion stripes is suppose to be black, white, black; not black, white, black, white. Blue nose got corrected as well after looking at a few images. Clear gloss go on at lunchtime, decals starts tonight.

Decal session is done. Noticed I had faint blue overspray on right wing. 
Need to touch up that before clearcoat tomorrow.

More corrections to be done. There's suppose to be only 2 black stripes in bottom of fuselage, never a white stripe.
Not a biggie to fix. With decals already on, I'll have to hand paint over the white stripe.

Your builds move fast, Tom! Sorry to read about these fixes but it’s all part of the process and the price we must pay from time to time to make our projects. Those initial silver coats look superb, kind of interesting to see the effect from the unwanted I know I overspray as well. You do have this one well in hand, Tom!

Yeah... the Tamiya P-51 .Mustang kit is a quick build. I need to get another couple of P-51Bs with Malcolm canopies and a couple of P-51Ds.
