Moday morning. Roughly ten benchtime hours later i have met my deadline and have endeavoured to produce the following:

For a fairly simple 1:72 kit i must say it has been a joy to work on and the kit has plenty of detail. My knowledge on train cars is severely limited so i can't make a judgement on accuracy. Most definately a recommendable buy and given more time you can really go to town on this one! Hope you guys enjoyed following and will continue to do so as i post my next project here in the armor corner :bye:

Nice work sir! Nothing like a good clean quick build to get your modeling mojo flowing

Very nice. I like the shading and weathering. Very realistic.

Very nice work Kermit, very well done!

Just curiosity, what role does the Zippo lighter fuel have when finalizing your work?
I guess you use it in weathering or ?

Kari. I use lighter fluid as thinner for my oil paints. It is much softer on the acrylic base paint than the mineral spirits i used to use for that. I also like that it has a little spout so it is easier to control the dosage

Thanks Kermit for the answer, interesting!

And indeed, the small nozzle/spout is indeed practical to dose.
Had already forgot that detail in those Zippo cans...

Had no idea such an armoured train even existed, so thank you for showing this speed build here! A pleasure to follow you!
