I think they would go well with a P-39 that I built a couple of years ago...

Well, since I finished the Sabre, I have been doing some light work to keep the model mojo flowing. Mostly working on my 1/48 ground stuff to pose with aircraft... I have been doing the basic painting on the stuff.

Well I just walked down to the local R/C shop, which also happens to carry a decent selection of scale models as well... and picked up this set for the airfield ground scenery...
Somebody stop me!!!

Very cool Carlos! Will these figures and accessories be used to pose with 1/48 models as they are built and not as a permanent part of a diorama?

John that's my intent. Unless I get and inspiration for a diorama that I want to keep. But seeing how display space is at a premium for me that's not too likely. But now that I'm looking into this 1:48 ground stuff, im finding there is a reasonable bit of it out there.

A close up of the tractor. I am going to use those Hobby Lobby gemstones on the lights once it is painted. They will help. BTW, does anybody know what model of aircraft tug this is? I found a similar looking one on an image search in Vietnam during that war, but I can not identify this thing...
1969 Ford 621 "Tug"

You're right; differences were mainly internal: many of the tugs had dual smaller rears, hyd brakes, no 3pt or pto, and the torqe converter.. etc.
