Well we have a verdict! Why the Hell not? I’ll throw it into the rotation as one of my “step away from main projects and relax with a fun one” with my tanks and my Spitfire.

If anything it's excellent practice! The eddie Van Halen build would be a really cool to see.

The Dora with the Eddie Van Halen bottom would be a cool variation on the Papagei Staffel markings. You know that the pilots had unique personal slogans on the sides of their aircraft right? May you could incorporate some famous VH lyrics instead.

Thank you Lyle! Okay well I guess we’re all A-Go! on this thing! So here’s the round-robin or what I’ll be posting in this thread:

1. “Fun With The Franken-Emil” where I try/refine cool new weathering techniques

2. “Marga” which as y’all know is Bartels, G6 which is my main project

3. Horst Tietzen’s Emil -beginning Monday when it arrives in the mail- where I take what I’ve learned from the Franken-Emil and do on that fantastic subject

4.”Tiny Life”: my decompression 1:72 Spitfire and Tony builds just for fun and to de-stress when I don’t feel like working on the other stuff

5. My Zeros which I assure you will be finished in the next five years or so

6. And finally: The Edward VanHalenDora ... my imagineering build for fun

I need these projects. Thank you for following and for being supportive of my ideas. I hope me documenting what I do here helps y’all as much as the experiments help me. I’m discovering that I’m not a model show guy or a competition guy. I’m an experimental guy and maybe some stuff works and maybe it doesn’t. I need the time to be creative and experimental or my mind goes crazy and tells me bad things in angry voices. And this helps me maintain my sanity. So thank you fellas for not telling me I’m stupid or crazy.
