Looks great! I was wondering if some shinier silver should be present on the sides. Just thinking after a massive calorie infusion so my brain is mushy...

I first heard that expression (“Why the hell not?”) from my tough as nails Scottish grandfather when the chips were falling and the men were all squatting on haunches waiting for someone to take charge... go for it!

That's looking pretty bloody awesome Kenny!

Yeah I agree with stik - give it a wash. Radials are pretty mucky engines, especially when they've stood for a while and the oils seeped to the bottom.

I just love these Pratt and Whitney engines!

The Tamiya Corsair (in any scale) seems to be almost one-of-a-kind kit !

Thank you, gentlemen!

Okay, so here we are, after a tad more silver, and a wash! I used my new Ammo panel line wash for this. Neutral Brown, and Dark Red Brown. That stuff is awesome. I was able to just wipe away the excess without any need for thinner at all. Don’t know how that works, don’t particularly care, makes my life easier LOL.

Have a look:

Someone’s investigating Dora Lang... that is “True Detective,” correct?

Kenny X, have you seen “Green Room?”

You must. With Mrs Kenny X as well.

Great movie.

Very nice work on the P & W!!

Yessir! Thought Rustin would make a good background LOL

I haven’t but I will happily check it out! And thank you both for the recommendation and the good word! I like this engine even better than the Jumo! Never thought of myself as a radial engine man but these things are KILLER!!
