Marius, I meant to also point out that the new clean white background for photography is beautiful. I expect the choice may be motivated by the finish of the aircraft, but I approve of the white background! The focus is clearly upon the object being seen without distraction.

A favorite.

On Red X, the fuselage looks very light gray based upon the artist's rendering. The only search of note I turned up were documents from the RAF Museum indicating that the museum painted a captured bird as "Red X" at one point. I will add a link to the documents, if you are curious!

Is the Matchbox model from the time when Revell took over? The decal sheet for Matchbox Red X has Revell's name on it.... I am afraid I know very little of Matchbox history. Would you know the context of the inclusion of Revell's name? Is this simply one company taking over another?

The Matchbox Me 262 is one of their first own molds from the beginning of the 70s. My release is from the 90s when Revell oG took over.
Maybe this is a reason why parts had poor fitting and why the canopy looked that terrible.
The red X seems to be assembled by different parts because the provided production number is not in Messerschmitt's production lists. That makes it easy to do an owncamouflage.

Even the tail is striped! Hm, hm, hm. What is the plan for your current Schwalbe? Hellbau fuselage, lower wings, than splinter upper wings? I know you wrote specifically what your intentions are, more of a freestyle interpretation due to the mysterious origin of Red X. Are you going to keep the fueslage in mostly hellblau, Marius?

My Schwalbe will have a NMF tail starting behind canopy, lower surfaces RLM76, wings upper splinter RLM 81/82, camouflage on fuselage RLM 76, upper areas RLM 74/75 plus RLM 02 mottling and RLM 74/75 dots.
