Cosmetic surgery—by spreading the uh... the rear of the nacelle (note—the slight height mismatch is from tape on compound curves).

Image

I was able to fill the gap with slurried CA+Styrene dust—finished with Milliput. Shaped. Smoothed. Rounded. Roundness achieved by hand.

Round!

Please forgive my punchy attitude... it’s been a long day.

That shape looks good. All the work you put in now will pay off later!

Thank you so much, Borg. I sincerely appreciate your words—and I feel much better knowing that the nacelle is going to be closer to the shape it needs to be.

I didn't realize you could spread it anymore I thought you had it glued in place already. Glad you found a solution.

Clint, thanks! I did cut the nacelle apart since it was glued together which is probably what I will have to do with the other side, too. I was following the instructions. Hah. Not no more.

Am I splitting hairs, perhaps?
I don't find really any reference pictures of that...

The text tells roughly, "Be careful of the props - enter from the back".. But where precisely should that decal be ?

Re-establishing a uniform cross-section is much better than filling and sanding so bravo on your fix!
