I use sticks and toothpicks that have an end dipped in Microscale Liquid Tape as my holders for small parts painting.

Liquid Tape...is that like liquid courage? Not seen that stuff. Is it a masking agent?

No, it’s basically a low tack adhesive. You apply it to an object and once the stuff dries, it gives the object a sticky area where it has been coated.

They also do make a liquid mask, along with many other products, including the decal set and solvent.

I am familiar with Micro Scale. Hate their decal "fixer". It has never worked for me. I can't figure out why. Most people love it. I also have/like the MicroSol and MicroSet, etc. This was a new one.

I stumbled on the stuff by chance, read the label, and decided to give it a try. I keep finding different things to use it for.

I use it for canopies, etc. Micro-Scale has a habit of manufacturing a bunch of products using PVA as its main ingredient. Just different levels of viscosity.

Yes, it’s great for tacking something in place that you don’t want glued into one fixed position. I also like using it for some of my tank crew figures so they don’t come off so easily.
