They did serve quite a bit in the Atlantic as well. Mostly ASW work, but the Ranger SBDs did get in some good action both in North Africa and in Norway.

Thanks guys! The yellow sure does make a nice splash of color against the blues of the airframe.

Thanks guys! Getting closer to the finale on this build at long last. Just a few more things to attend to. :hmm:

Bruce, I am truly smitten by the rivet surface detailing on this one. It truly gives the kit the proper look of an SBD. I much prefer the raised rivets over the recessed type any day, when then that was how the real thing looked. :hmm:
