A bit of a Frankenstein masking job but the tamiya tape was not sticking… and to ensure the frame segments would line up I laid down strips of 3m fine line tape to simulate the frame and put bmf over that….stole that idea from Paul Budzik…

BMF... that's a new one. Something I should try on a mule canopy.

This was not in the original plan but I ended up priming the whole airframe in black Mr surfacer…

Oops did not even notice that you finished your Rufe ! Been out of the loop for a while … nice work on your Rufe—interesting paint scheme!

This is where there Rufe is at. Plan on doing some pretty intensive chipping/scratching on it. Not realistic for a Rufe, but fun (I hope).
