Have you ordered Infini Slim Wooden Decks, yet? Every time I see your detail work I get chills! Have you built a Star Destroyer... that would seem to be a natural fit for your talents. Every time I visit here I learn something new and good. Thanks so much.

I don't have the Infini deck, I'm don't know off the top of my head whose it is.
I have built a star destroyer but it was a long time a got and an AMT kit I believe.

After completing the paper framework, at least as far as I can go now, I started back on the hull. I decided to scratch this....bracing? Or whatever it's supposed to be. I didn't like the oversized piece provided in the kit. In fact, the pieces I installed are oversized compared to the picture provided in the "Kagaro Super Drawings in 3D" book, but WTH.

looking good!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

looks way better and more in scale.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Thanks gents.
Looking at the photo of the 3D book, it looks like I need a few braces for the platforms. maybe using a smaller gauge.

OK guys, I completed this section, at least until I get the IJN ladders from B&A in Australia and attach the deck, but I'm moving on. The black paint under the 25mm AA gun platform is where I'm checking if I need to add some filler. I also need to add the railing before I spray the black base.

I added some detail interest to the area under the deck but can't find any pictures of it to really know what was in there. Probably no one will see them anyway. This is the area where the three AM (Alliance Model Works) 1.2cm twin AA guns go. I glued the bracing on the AA platforms and set them aside to dry before attaching them to the hull. This area is going to need to be repainted.
