No I hadn't attached it permanently yet. And I haven't primed it yet either.

Got creative. A little sanding at the leading edge of the main canopy got it the right length. But something was still keeping it from sitting down all the way. Realized that the rear ejection seat was the issue. Don't know why either. It's sitting where it should be. Anyway I sanded a little off the canopy breakers on the top of the seat and BINGO!! Used a clamp to make sure. Had to put it in a vise to stand it up.

Nice work!
I love the Tucano, especially in the old RAF Blue/Grey/Red/White scheme - I was once standing on the roof of my old airfield's control tower doing repairs (effectivly a wooden shack on the roof of another building - so not very high) when one beat the place up - I remeber it went knife edge between the tower and one of the hangers and my head was level with the cockpit
