correct

but the upper colors are close to nato (old) standard

Absolutely yes Bsy! The Gnats were exported with UK camo, in other words a Nato camo from that period (late 50's, early 60's)

A brief update...
The tiny Gnat has not got attention lately, even if the work has been in progress..
The underside has been painted with dull-aluminium (Vallejos acrylic metal colors), small details here and there added... and now it is in the final stages, decaling among other stuff + some weathering after decals. Doubt that the Gnat will be finalized still this weekend... but surely this year!
