Al those pre shading, black base and motteling kind of techniques are hard to do with a single action external mix airbrush. I know this from experience. Good luck with the Badger copy, I hope can get it assembled.

Finished up the paint work with a coat of future gloss, then started on decals.
Eduard's decals worked wonderfully: they were thin and crisp, allowing you to read all the stenciling...which in 1/72, is kinda hard to do! The oily caveat was that the decals had a habit of trying to fold over on themselves since they were so thin.
The gloss coat also helped bring out the panel shading I did. Weathering and final assembly next!!
