1/144 KC-135E Stratotanker

Time to bring this one up to date.

Didn't like the reinforcement ribs on the kit. Looked WAY outta scale. Some KC-135's have them and some have them built internally.



Got the ribs sanded off and rescribed the panel lines.

Got this one back out today. Added the landing gear doors. It looks worse than it is.

I'm glad to see this on the bench again. Excellent work on the panel rescribing. I have a couple 1/72 scale Boeing like this (E-3 AWACS, J-STARS) that I want to build. This is making me motivated to look into them. I do have a lot of other models to finish though. I resolved this year to just work on and finish the smaller and easier models to try and get rid of a lot of boxes that are taking up room.

Keep it coming; this is looking amazing.

Fixing some gaps and steps on the bottom that I missed.
