Hellcats are BIG airplanes. Comparable to the Thunderbolt in size. That Eduard kit is a nice one. I did one in a nightfighter conversion a while back. One of the few Allied planes that I've done.

Bruce-
THAT, as our friends the hip-hoppers say, is “DOPE!”
Yeah bro. The Hellcat, like the Warhawk and later on the A10, just scream “BADASS!”

John-
Gotta have an Allied aircraft or two. And for that, a Curtiss Warhawk and a Hellcat seem to be must-haves.

I'll trade you a Spitfire for the Warhawk on that must-have list!

Certainly! You know, Galland himself respected that Spitfire.
Which, speaking of, I have a nice Hasegawa Spitfire kit, and accompanying Aires cockpit set for it, which I may never build...

P-51D... yes, that is definitely an iconic one. I've done a B but not a D. I'd buy the Revell kit if I could just find it in stock!

That’s true, Kari LOL And before we know it, each of us is sitting on an unassemlbed 1/32 and 1/48 miniature Air Force!
