Tested a big decal after I had used the decal bonder. The bonder was left to dry for a day and a half. Now I haven't tested one on a curved surface yet so we'll see.

Well it looks like I spoke too soon. Some of the decals still broke in small areas. None of the decals were totally destroyed. One Viper has all the big decals on.

Call any dings in the decals battle damage.

That's exactly what I was going to do. Those spots will get some metal paint and other weathering to make it look like hits.

Most of the decals do look good. At least you [can call it battle damage where the decals broke. I have a civilian airliner I'm building where the decals have chipped away a lot and I can't call it battle damage! LOL!!

LOL! That's a scream! However, those would have to be some Very Big Birds coming at this plane from the side rear to have done that kind of damage! LOL!
