My travel-pack often contains the following:KSaarni wrote:Very nice metallic finish!
Just a question of pure curiosity. .. Which tools have you brought with you to the Alps ? In other words, what is included in your travel-pack?
- exacto knive
- tweezers
- side cutter
- some high grit sandpaper
- putty
- 00, 1 and flat 4 brush
- red, blue, yellow, black, white and grey paint (you can basically mix any colour with those)
- a few spray cans (depending on the scheme)
Stuff like thinner, alcohol etc. I buy locally.
So it all a bit basic but enough for a simple build.
For some projects/trip combinations I toke along other stuff. When travelling by car you can take a lot with you. But by plane it is very difficult. During a trip to curaƧao I only had my exacto, some rat files, bass wood and scale drawings. That was the maximum that was possible and I made some wooden masters for gun pods during that vacation.
