Two more lovely figures - beautiful work. I especially like the soilder fighting off the wolf - the pose if very good. both are painted very realisticly.

Are these bought figures, or the result of your scratch building?

Sorry for the late answer! The figure of the Squasher itself was bought, but for more realism slightly rebuild - I replaced the throwing item (I dont know the exact name) for a spear - much more conclusive.

The other one - Neiran Acolyte - was a present from another modeller from another forum. Hes admin there and send it to me for free. Another one will follow, and Im doing a review of both. So simple. ;)

New project, new challenges - a nice little inbetween project was the GW IronStrider. Its fun. I used some spare PE parts here and there, drilled some holes, used my beloved cog wheels and so forth. SciFi modelling can be THAT exciting - no rivet counting, just pure modelling fun. ;)

I call that vignette "Pigs Of War" btw.

That's a beauty - I really like your attention to detail and the way you add character to your builds. The build and the painting are masterful - the sort of really good stuff you used to get in 'White Dwarf'.

I love the idea of mixing GW stuff with the WWI era, or any historical era. Years ago I built a GW Space Marine Terminator Squad in OD with star markings as if they were a bit of WWII Allied Armour - Not with any great success but it's an interesting idea.

Another nice mix could be this kind of walker, or a dreadnaught, in a Napoleonic era uniform...

Anyway good stuff - Keep em coming! And great stuff with those review builds - looking forward to seeing the next one!

Many thanks, Port!

As always, there are many projects running at the same time - a viking bust will follow. ;)

For some months now I collect the "Warhammer:Visions" magazine - veeery inspiring stuff there.

Hehehe... thank you. There was a time when I said "No more GW stuff". Why? Well, most of it is not my kind of stuff, and sometimes the details are a bit rough n easy. Maybe that has something to do with the war gaming character or so, I dunno.

Of course I like steampunk stuff, but there are only a few kits from GW which are a good basic kit. Until I saw the IronStrider and the Imperial Knight. And you know what?! Theres a bigger vehicle like that that is supposed to serve in the same fictional army:

More from the Adeptus Mechanicus... this time a Kastelan Robot. I made him fly - with a guitar string. ;)
