:headslap: Of course, the gun is positioned on a road and not on a railway. But hey, I was a corpsman, not an observer. :bag:
That is a fantastic picture. The shadows clearly reveal the structures.

This build and Pathe movie clips just go together! I think that first shot is the same as your still reference only from a different angle?

Excellent clip Bruce! I love that FLAK -18 with the two paratroopers standing by it.

I see a red door and I want it painted black
No colors anymore I want them to turn black

Black base on...

I gave this book to myself as a Christmas present, Antony Beevors latest masterpiece. I have not started reading it yet, but looking very very much forward to start in near future. Planning this Summer for a 2 day tour to the "scen" where all this happened... only 2 hrs drive from here...

Thanks guys. I’m looking forward to getting the green on next. I found a mix using Tamiya colors to create the Brit version of OD. We shall see.

Kari, that looks like a book that I’d love to read. That is one of those battles that fascinates me, and I like to read whatever that I find on the subject. I would love to visit there one day.

YEAH BUDDY!

They look so nice with that black base on. And I’m excited about seeing you paint it. With your skill, and all the details on this thing, I’m betting you’re going to get a whole lot of fantastic depth and realism out of this!

Thanks Kenny. This will be interesting. I am still trying to get the hang of this black basing thing. We had a good demo on the techniqueat AMPS a couple weeks ago, so that is still fairly fresh in my mind right now.
