Thanks guys! I think the surface prep really paid off. It is so shiny I won’t be doing a gloss coat.

Wouh, that is truly a red bird!
I have never succeeded with anything painted with a spraycan, just don't master the process there...

I did the decals straight on the gloss paint (all two of them!). Then is gloss coated it with Future thinned with Gunze lacquer thinner. I did this to protect the red from the wash. I tested my favourite wash on a piece of unprotected paint and it went bad. But that is what tests are for. So I am happy with it.

That's looking really good Borg - you did a great job on that red.
I don't know where you got the patience to do all of those decals though.

Funny thing is that I am currently bogged down with the decals of my Hind A. I guess that is karma.
