The P-51B in the foreground is the last one from my apartment days. Not exactly sure when I built it but has to be around 1992-93. Used an ancient Super Scale decal set to do Iowa Beaut

This is the Fine Molds Me410A-1 built in 97 placed in the one and only show I've entered. 1st place multi-engine OOB and 2nd place multi-engine. I remember the guy that beat me had an Italeri Bf110 that was decked out with PE and resin.

Wow, there's some blasts from the past! I didn't even know any of those existed! BTW the "Fonz" car is actually the Monkeemobile!
Here's some I built that were released way back when and are extremely expensive these days:
Aurora 1/72 scale Jet Commander:
I actually have two of these; one of which I built. Had a bear of a time with the decals:
Another one from Atlantis. I plan on starting it soon:
Remember these little thing? What fun:
Here's some I built awhile ago. These are the ancient Aurora kits of the Piper Aztec, Piper Cherokee, Cherokee Arrow and Cessna 172. I have the box es somewhere in my Gallery, but these are them after I built them:
Everyone remember the old "Battle Damaged" kits?
Here's an old Lindbergh kit from way back:
And some more ancient Matchbox kits:
Some of my old favorites: MPC Profile series! I always loved the illustrations on the box tops:
Here's an oldie I just got recently.... for free!
Let's talk about ancient:
Another one you won't find anywhere again. I'm hoping to get this painted up soon:
Finally, did someone mention Tom Daniel's cars?

I usually find the Battle Damaged Skyhawk kits every year around Christmas time at Ollie’s.

I wished to own this kit! Really!! I have a kind of "family ties" to this thing: my grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-great-grandfather (on my mother´s side) was the last active executioner in France, until 1939!
Maybe thta´s where I have my sarcasm from...

I just looked on eBay and wow, even the Polar Lights mold is pricey.

After looking this post over, I miss some of these kits. Would love to get an Aurora "12 o'clock high set", or so Monogram WW2 armor.

I think in looking at some of these old kits that I'd like to get some more of those older car kits. The plane kits now are so much better that unless it's something that I have no choice on I'd rather have it new

I’m the same way. Looking in eBay has some but the “buy it now” starts pretty high.
