Great repair work around the canopy! Like you said, sanding next to clear plastic can be nerve-wracking! What kind of putty did you use? One of the things that I like about Milliput is that in its uncured state, it is water-soluble. You can use a dampened cloth or towel to smooth and shape the puttied areas and reduce/eliminate the need for sanding.

I haven't used milliput in some time. Agree its good stuff. I've been using tamiya white filler. Easy to sand and dried quickly.

Got her all cleaned up - Novus polished, washed cleaned dryed. Shot Tamiya gloss black and seeing some disturbing eyefish/pooling. Perhaps it will level out - we'll see.

The paint turned out fine all except the right wing. Perhaps I didn't get all the soap off. Ah well, I'll sand and respray.
