Sorry Stuart, no brush painting due to the fact.. The only RAF interior green I have, is a bottle of MRP, mission impossible to try to paint it with a brush...

So next step detail painting and that will be done with a brush!

Very nice Kari - I did in fact sit down to do a bit of interior painting before I went to bed, but alas my interior green seems to have gone over - I'll see if I can dig an alternative one out in the morning.

Great detail in that kit!

I spent a happy half hour in my car at lunch assembling plastic...

Assembled the cockpit into one half of the fuselage. After building a few of these kits I've found this is the best to assemble them. If you do it after painting it can be PITA to get assembled.

I'd better sort out those pin marks before painting.

And started putting down a bit of paint. I find Humbrol's 78 interior green a good match - good enough for me anyway. It's going to need a few more coats however...

Very nice!

Those cockpit details are very nice in Airfix Mk.I. And the entire construction seems to better engineerd in this scale, than the sort of over-complex Eduard..
