Those are neat pictures. Good thing it isn't front wheel drive, huh?

Got these goodies in the mail today. Looks like no strip job on that Dick Brennan build after all. Get to start with a fresh and clean Jo-Han body.....and glass.

Thanks Lyle.
Aaaand now we have the rear bumper and tail lights. Just got these in yesterday. Still waiting on the front bumper and the correct grille from Competition Resins.
Got a couple of reference shots as well for the engine. Glad it's a 429. Been wanting to build up a 429 Boss for a while now. Getting that motor mount plate between the water pump and block and then getting it to the frame is gonna be tricky.

If it's any consolation it looks like the shock towers were seriously narrowed to acommodate that Semi Hemi.
Some flat sheet styrene and a few precise cuts should solve that. Perhaps thinning the back of the pump by a few strokes of sandpaper and Voila! Perhaps sanding back the mounting boss on the block as well.

Just caught up with this one Joe - Good to see another Maverick on the go.
Just out of curiosity but what are you going to do with the original body? Are you going to sell it on or are you going to display it alongside your rebuild as a before and after?
