Thanks guys.
I have only used flag decals in smaller scales, 350 and 600.I take it its one of those decals where you have to fold the 2 sides together. have you trie wrapping it straight round the antenna.

Yes, it is meant to be folded around a post. That part isn't hard. the hard part is finding a way to keep the decal from cracking and/or breaking apart once it's dry. I would like it to last for awhile.

Some tissue paper in between the halves might be what you need Mark. I’m not sure how it will work in the area around the post/staff/antenna, but it will definitely work under the main body portion. I’m talking the thin tissue paper used for packing material in shoes and such, not facial or toilet tissue.

Good information Carlos. I was thinking very thin sheet styrene too. I'll be looking at possibilities more closely.

I see what you mean Mark. the small ones i have used are still in good condition 2 years later but then i have not put any shape to them, i am surprised they have lasedt this long.
